JOHN GANNON | FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
For more than thirty years, John Gannon has been designing and installing landscape lighting that reveals the quiet beauty of Southern California’s most distinguished properties. Beginning as a tradesman with a love for both light and nature, John built Gannon Electric Light on long-standing relationships with architects, designers, and homeowners who trust his artistry and technical expertise.
John approaches each project as a collaboration, blending the latest technology with timeless design sensibilities. His work reflects not only a mastery of engineering but also an intuitive sense for how light transforms space, mood, and memory. With every project, John brings forward a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and care that has guided the company since its beginning.
AUDREY GANNON | DESIGN DIRECTOR
With a background in design and a natural eye for detail, Audrey Gannon leads the creative direction at Gannon Electric Light. She oversees the aesthetic vision of each project, ensuring that our lighting not only enhances the architecture and landscape but also creates spaces of warmth and elegance.
Audrey’s design sensibility is both modern and timeless, and she brings a fresh perspective to our work with high-end residential clients. She is passionate about collaboration, listening closely to clients and partners to translate ideas into thoughtful, refined solutions.
Known around the company as our “self-appointed head of HR,” Audrey balances creative leadership with a talent for building strong, lasting relationships. Her presence reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, professionalism, and personal care in everything we do.
CARLOS CAMPOS | LEAD TECHNICIAN
Carlos Campos was raised in the landscape contracting business founded by his father, Carlos Sr. For decades, Carlos Sr. and John worked side by side on many top-tier garden projects, and John always admired his meticulous craftsmanship, unwavering work ethic, and cheerful demeanor. As a boy, young Carlos spent his summers alongside his father, learning the trade from the ground up and earning his place on the highly skilled and creative project team at Rob Steiner Gardens.
Today, as Lead Technician at Gannon Electric Light, Carlos brings that same foundation of excellence to our work. He has quickly distinguished himself in the engineering and installation of our lighting systems, seamlessly blending technical precision with a deep knowledge and love of plants and trees. His ability to integrate lighting with the natural environment makes him an invaluable part of our team.
Clients are consistently drawn to Carlos’s upbeat, “can-do” spirit, his problem-solving mindset, and his care for every detail. He is a joy to work with, and his presence reflects the legacy of craftsmanship, creativity, and positivity that defines Gannon Electric Light.
